The Ecofluency Weekend Retreat was completely life-changing. I went into it with a mixture of openness and skepticism that I could actually communicate with trees. I was absolutely blown away by the magical experience of nature communication. Saskia created an enchanting and caring atmosphere that brought out the best in all of us. We felt completely comfortable sharing our feelings, having deep conversations around the fire, and creating the most beautiful rituals together.
Saskia is incredibly knowledgeable about nature communication and the myriad subjects that overlap with it. She is an authentic, humble, wise, beautiful soul. Because of this experience, I am on a new path of re-enchantment and deep connection with the living world that is leading me on amazing adventures and opening my heart and mind in ways I never could have imagined.”
— Keridwen, writer and editor, Germany
Thank you again again again! This 6-week course was life-changing in ways I’m still enjoying, very deep to my roots. I would recommend it to anyone who has ever loved a plant or tree unreasonably much.
Loved the pacing and sensitivity of the class, which is a wonderful place to be a curious human.”
— Ariel, ux (user experience) researcher, USA
I highly recommend Saskia’s online Nature communication course. Taking it really opened up and expanded the range and depth of my own practice of intuitive communication with the natural world, and gave me valuable tools in both ritual and protection.
Her ample generosity, warmth of presence and skilled appreciation for the range of individual abilities in the class, worked to set the tone for a wonderful learning experience and community of seekers.”
— Rebecca, visual artist, Canada
Ecofluency has left such a deep impression on my life. Instinctively, I knew that this way of being in the world was possible and yet I didn’t feel that I could move close to it.
The course and Saskia’s guidance have helped me to develop a practice, and I feel as though each day I move closer to being in the world in a reciprocal and compassionate way. I feel that it cuts to the root of so much and this labour is so deeply necessary for us to see and be seen by our kin.
In the midst of ecological emergencies, Saskia is one of my beacons of light and I will forever be grateful and recommend her work!”
— Ila, youth worker, UK
I am so grateful for the 6-week Ecofluency course. Prior to our sessions, I thought I might not be “sensitive enough” to communicate with Earth beings and did not have any ideas about what it could look like. Already after the first session, I felt excited about the inspiring questions Saskia ignited and gathered with us collectively.
Saskia’s teaching style is clear, organized, and profoundly respectful of all participants (human and not). She helped me dip my toes into a big ocean of possibilities that I didn’t realize existed. Especially profound was realizing the role that nature communication plays in supporting my feelings of belonging.
The lessons showed me how to initiate my first Ecofluency experience and provided the first important steps needed to embark on this lifelong journey - thank you Saskia!”
— Sophie, dancer and Earth justice researcher, Germany
A big thank you for leading us all on the 7-week online course!
It has offered me inspiration, energy, structure and encouragement to journey further into my own connection to nature. It was also great to connect with many others who share a common bond and love for the wild places.

I really enjoy the way you communicate about your work with well-considered points, authenticity and the right amount of wit.
You stand as an important bridge between two worlds in this great transition.”
— Tom, volunteering project officer for sustainable transport charity, UK
Transformational, I will forever have reverence for the intensive 3-day event that brought me home to my truth.
Saskia is an incredible being who reignited the power within me to be in communication with the entirety of the cosmos. This is a skill available to all of us, and with her gentle direction and encouragement it has cultivated the magic and authenticity from the depths of my being.”
— Monique, holistic food systems facilitator, New Zealand
I just completed the ‘Foundations of Nature Communication’, and feel inspired, invigorated and ever more curious about the possibility of co-creating a future with nature.
We covered a lot of ground in the 3 lessons of this short course, and Saskia shared with us some invaluable resources, personal insights and experiences.
What I liked is that the detailed steps are in no way rigid, and can be personalized to whatever resonates with you.
If you are interested in exploring communication with other-than-human beings, then this is a wonderful start.”
— Janine, food gardener, UK
Taking the 7-week online Ecofluency course has been magical and rewarding.
I am now growing and deepening relationships and conversations with different beings that I always felt were possible, but previously didn’t know how to explore safely and confidently.
The course has been so rich, and a wonderful part of this was sharing and connecting with the other amazing participants.
Saskia led with grace, humour, and spirit, and I am deeply grateful for the practices and guidance she shared.”
— Olive, International Relations and Anthropology student, UK

Teaching background, and private events

I have gained a wide range of experience in teaching, facilitation and leadership skills over the past 14 years. In the past 10 years, I have helped organise and facilitated dozens of events and workshops, in various forms in person and online, with nearly 1000 participants in total. Feedback from all of these has been overwhelmingly positive.

Immersive in-person events are usually offered for about 12-15 participants, and can be one-day, whole weekends or week-long. These are tailored to the audience, and can include Nature Communication, and/or Family and Nature Constellations.

Some feedback from previous events

The Ecofluency Weekend Retreat was a beautiful experience. Saskia built the structure of the weekend around the needs of the group, which meant we could explore concepts and ideas which were personal to us.
We were also invited to co-create a ceremony as a group with nature, which was a really magical experience. I felt supported in deepening my nature connection and communication skills and space was provided for us all to share with the group to enhance collective learning.
I really appreciated the time around our campfire with great conversation and genuine human connection. Saskia is an extremely knowledgeable guide and shows genuine care for the journey of others and their relationship to nature.”
— Tom, volunteering project officer for sustainable transport charity, UK

Saskia’s vibrant enthusiasm about in-depth communication with more-than-human beings is inspiring and uplifting.
Having attended her 3-day course, I can highly recommend this as the perfect starting point for those wishing to engage in deeper, more respectful dialogue with other species.
Saskia’s wisdom is backed by academic research and personal experience and experimentation - a highly effective combination.”
— Jane, farmer, New Zealand

“I can attest to Saskia’s luminosity, integrity and humility in being present in space and time while leading a diverse group of us into one of our most pressing issues of our time: being present on an equal basis with all of the beings of this world, be they rock, trees, animals or human.

Her sensitivity made it possible to breathe freely and do some experiential work in a safe, protected and loving environment, in probably one of the most magical settings. Her academic background gives her such a solid grounding, that even sceptics can feel at ease.

I would love you to experience this - no guru stuff here, just respect and reverence.”
— Charlotte, retired teacher & walking group leader, UK

I highly recommend this course for a closer connection to nature.
Saskia gives a structure to contact nature through interspecies communication, but also lets the student adapt it to her/his own needs.
— Herre, renewable energy consultant, Netherlands

Saskia teaches with profound integrity of grace that draws kindred spirits in for energizing the New Earth. Ecofluency is a beautiful portal through which we remember our oneness with Nature.
This is the vital work of our time, reconnecting, honoring, and respecting the viewpoint of all sentient life. These classes deeply feed the soul, thank you!”
— Connie, animal communicator and energy healer, USA

I recently attended a day workshop with Saskia because, as a nature lover, participant and observer, I was intrigued to learn more about her unique approach and relationship to nature. She exceeded my expectations and I came away with very valuable insights and lessons!
Her obvious knowledge, gentle spirit and finely tuned facilitation skills are exemplary. I have no doubt that she will go from strength to strength, and deeply touch and inspire people wise enough to attend any of her programs.”
— Bruce, former university professor of sports science, founder of Aaha Learning

This was one of the best workshops I’ve attended for a long while. Saskia holds a very beautiful and gentle space in which she skilfully guides you into a very deep and powerful experience.

This workshop will have a lasting impact on my life and my work.
I’m incredibly grateful for the process, which will enable me to connect to nature in a respectful and safe way.

More now than ever, we need to be listening to what the other-than-human world has to say to us and this workshop equips you to do just that.”
— Selena, researcher and consultant, UK

Saskia is a great teacher. Her online courses are fantastic, and I felt safe to be vulnerable in the container she provides. She covers all the topics you need to become confident in this language, and her classes leave you with an excellent toolset you can easily use. I left her course deeply satisfied.”
— Nathanja, farmer and coach, Germany

I just completed a three-day short course on “Foundations of Nature Communication”. Saskia’s expertise is outstanding, her style of presentation fresh and entertaining. This makes it easy to connect to the subject at hand, and get the most out of it. I truly enjoyed it!”
— Helmar, life coach, South Africa

Thank you for a beautiful and magical retreat. I connected more deeply to the wonderful beings that inhabit my garden, and also connected back to my true Self, which was very much needed.
Thank you for the wisdom, the insights, the beauty, the laughter, and the stillness. I can’t recommend this enough; it is truly life changing.”
— Zofia, student, farmer & activist, UK

I have always been connected to nature, and thanks to the workshop I feel even closer to nature.
It was great to communicate with a fungus, a bush, a plant, all who called to me during the practice sessions. Their answers to my questions were so interesting!

Saskia is a wonderful teacher & person, who is clear, knowledgeable, kind, and humble. Her teaching is much needed for bringing peace and harmony in the world.”
— Mika, mother, UK

I thoroughly enjoyed Saskia’s session and the content massively exceeded my expectations. I went in thinking that there wasn’t much more I could learn about nature communication, but my ego was quickly put in its place.
Her intelligence and her capacity to teach with such simplicity and enthusiasm completely demystifies a seemingly esoteric topic.
And her professional, fluent, coherent and engaging ability to translate the work she does and how she does it was something that really stuck with me beyond the session.

Her work deeply resonates with me, and I feel honoured to have been in a session with other like-minded people who are open to exploring new ways we can connect and co-create with our natural environment.”
— Micah, healer & guide, UK

Thank you for the online workshop! It was a very significant and important moment in the whole process, and I felt quite privileged to have been party to the openness and trust. I also felt a strong sense of compassion and community, both then and since.”
— Richard, magazine editor, UK

Saskia’s workshop is perfect as an introduction for anybody wanting to understand and deepen the relationship with themselves, nature and our elemental beings.
We were gifted with a beautiful autumn day in an amazing location and I was lucky to have a truly beautiful encounter with a beech tree who brought me a message from my mother.
Saskia’s thoughtful insights on the best way to approach and communicate with Mother Earth, her plants and animals, have helped to increase my nature perception and intuition.”
— Gini, retired teacher, UK

This was one of the best workshops of my life in helping me build trust in myself. What I appreciated the most was the part about how to deal with those animals who are sick, suffering and dying. The communication with the elements and forms of life other than animals are definitely aspects that I will also use in my work and personal life.
I trust you completely and look forward to more of your experiential workshops!”
— Flery, permaculture farmer & retreat centre owner, Greece

I can highly recommend Saskia’s work. She’s grounded, intuitive, very knowledgeable and a skilled guide in opening whole new perceptions which can be life changing.”
— Ashley, story-teller, UK

Thank you for the day we spent with you in the woods. Not knowing what to expect, it was a surprising and enriching experience. Touching, thought-provoking and very emotional for me.”
— James, homesteader, UK

It was a great workshop and I enjoyed every part of it. My favourite part was the personal development combined with animal communication, including animals who have passed away. I look forward to more in-depth workshops presented by you and Eleni.”
— Olga, project manager, Greece

The online workshop gave me easy access to intuition, imagination and inspiration.
Saskia facilitated a flowing yet boundaried research process involving all of the participants. I can see how this technique could bring benefits to the development of individuals, groups and organisations.”
— Berni, agricultural researcher, UK

I’ve always struggled with meditation and I’m not very imaginative. The guidance and exercises that Saskia facilitated helped me to push through that, and I could feel a bit more embodied afterwards, which helped me appreciate the intuitive way that farmers do things.”
